Title: Sales Support Representative
Hourly Rate: $25.49 – $26.93
Position Summary
The Sales Support Representative plays a crucial role in assisting the sales team and ensuring that sales operations run smoothly. This position involves providing administrative support, handling customer inquiries, processing quotes and orders, and maintaining accurate records. This opening has a unique focus on a singular large-scale retail and grocery client. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen attention to detail.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Remain up to date on all B-O-F product knowledge and specifications, serving as a knowledgeable resource to our customers.
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email, providing timely and accurate information about products and order status.
- Process sales orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring that all details are correct, and orders are fulfilled in a timely manner.
- Work closely with other departments, such as Sales and Production, to ensure seamless coordination and execution of sales activities.
- Maintain and update customer and sales records in the company’s CRM system, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare and manage sales documentation, including quotes, contracts, and invoices, ensuring all paperwork is completed and filed correctly.
- Address and resolve customer issues or complaints, escalating complex issues to the appropriate team members as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements
- 2+ years of customer service experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Ability to frequently and comfortably collaborate with remote team members
- Ability to learn new software and systems quickly
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Adaptability to changing priorities and tasks
- Experience using NetSuite is a plus
Work Environment
Normal office working conditions. Dress code is casual. Typical working hours of Monday through Friday (8am-5pm), and on occasion may need to work beyond the normal hours to meet project deadlines. Currently working a hybrid schedule of three days on-site, two days remote.
